We were introduced to different methods of rug weaving in this two week course. After learning the techniques, I created a concept using e waste, electric wires in particular, and combined them with the weaving techniques we were introduced to.
Mood Board created keeping the concept and inspiration textile artists in mind.
The techniques learnt were first experimented using the selected material: wire. It was difficult to achieve certain weaves given the rigid property of the wires.
